What does it mean when the O in qutations on your 2003 VW Jetta dashboard panel is illuminated?

If it's more like an o in two sets of parenthesis- like this ((0))- it means that there is something going on with your break system. Check the fluid level and top off if needed. You may also need to replace your break pads and or discs.
