Why should you continue being real when everyone seems to be fake?

Granted, there's a lot of phoniness in today's world - you can put out whatever front you want to on the internet, after all.

However, there's a lot to be said for being yourself and staying real. For one thing, you won't have to keep track of all those lies people tell in order to fit in or make themselves look better. Also, you won't have to be "on stage" all the time and have to work to keep pretending.

The main reason to stay real is because you'll feel better about yourself when you do. People who pretend to be something they're not always suffer on the inside - you just don't see it because they're always pretending. Trust me, it's exhausting.
