Every state sets the legal minimums for auto insurance. As of May 2013, in Washington state, you must be covered for:

- $25,000 of Bodily Injury Liability Coverage per Person

- $50,000 of Bodily Injury Coverage per Accident

- $10,000 of Property Damage Liability Coverage

- $5000 of Uninsured Motorist Coverage
