What kind of gas mileage does the suzuki 2006-2008 Boulevard M109R get?

I was reading a review about the Boulevard M109R and it said it gets between 35 and 40 mpg I have an 08 M109 and just took a ride to Lake Lure from Charlotte ( about 400 miles total ) and i had an average of 38.9 mpg. And I ride it like I stole it!!!!
