Could having a new pair of shoes be better for a woman then having a man in her life?

Depends on her priorities and her previous experiences with men. This is one of those half-joking questions, many of which arise from advertising campaigns which suggest if you have Brand A or B or C your life is fulfilled. Perhaps the question might be, is a new pair of shoes better than friendship? Most people would disagree with that.
