- Two days isn't a whole lot of time, but some of these tips may help you:
- Practice! get ahold of lists of Words used in previous Scripps spelling bees, and memorize as many as you can.
- Practice being in the competition, as well - have your friends and family quiz you on difficult Words.
- As you're thinking or talking, imagine spelling the Words as you go. Goes a long way towards building confidence.
Try not to "cram" too much though - studies have shown that cramming for a test/competition can lead to elevated stress levels (and you want to be cool as a cucumber when you crush your competition!)
