Where is the starter and how do I change it on a 2001 Hyundai XG300?

The starter on a 2001 Hyundai XG300 is located on the lower side of the engine, near the transmission. To change it, first disconnect the negative battery cable, then remove any components obstructing access to the starter, such as the air intake duct. Unbolt the starter from its mount, disconnect the electrical connections, and replace it with the new starter. Finally, reassemble everything in reverse order and reconnect the battery.
