Which southern states had slavery?

Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, all of which were part of the Confederacy. The following slave States stayed in the Union: Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri.
