Loudspeakers work by converting electrical energy into sound energy through a process called electromagnetic induction. When an audio signal passes through a coil of wire (voice coil) located in a magnetic field, it creates a magnetic force that causes the coil to move. This movement drives a diaphragm (usually made of paper or plastic), which pushes and pulls the air in front of it, producing sound waves. The frequency and amplitude of the electrical signal determine the pitch and volume of the sound produced.
