First, get used to it. All RX7s like to flood. Read up on how to de-flood a rotary engine--you need to know how, and you need to carry tools to do it on the road. Be prepared, because it will happen somewhere you don't want it to. Second, All RX7s run very rich until they are fully warmed up. Therefore if you start an RX7 and shut it off without warming it up to operating temperature, it often floods. You didn't do anything wrong, nor is anything wrong with your RX7. It is just the nature of the beasties. Let's say you start it to get it out of the garage to wash it. When you shut it off, it will likely flood. Push it out instead, or go for a spin to the store and when you come home, then wash it.
