After someone has died, you don't need to keep their prescribed medicines. It is normally advised by the National Health Service (NHS), that you dispose of any medicines of people who have pased away. Either that, or you should hand in any medicines at you local pharmacist or GP clinic. So that they can dispose of this unwanted medication in a safe and convenient way, or re-use it to suit their needs.
