Yes you can,But depending on the crime you might be denied a renewal. In 1996 Immigration laws changed felons who hold a valid Greencard up for renewal can have their Greencard taken away and deported.The law is retroactive,Meaning crimes that were commited prior to 1996 are now reviewed and Immigration decides if you stay in the U.S or are deported.
