What does it mean when butterflies fly in front of you?

Tradition holds that if a butterfly flies in front of you a woman will enter your life (regardless whether you are male or female). If it flies across your eyes it will be an intellectual relationship, if it flies before your mouth or throat it will be a musical relationship, if it flies next to your ear it will be a long distance relationship (pen-pal perhaps), if it flies before your heart it will be a loving relationship, if it flies before your belly it will be a gastronomic relationship, if it flies before your belt or lower it will be an 'earthy' relationship.
