It depends on the manufacturer but typically, and this is our policy, any manufactures defect is covered. A manufactures defect is most commonly a seamseparation. A hole in the liner the is not on a seam is not unless it can be proven that it was from the factory. We equate most hole to your car getting scratched, Ford can't tell you why it got scratched but it's not their fault. There are some issues with spontaneous wrinkling that are not usually covered, these have been traced back to a chemical, or more specifically ph, issue with the water.
