Not all "somethings", not just any magnet, and not used by just anyone- but eye doctors DO use magnets to remove steel and iron metal chips. If you have something in your eye, get to a doctor NOW. It is a simple, painless process (I know, have had it done) but if you do NOT have it taken care of, you can permanently damage your eye.
