To change the rear brake light on a 2007 Jeep Commander, first, open the rear hatch and locate the access panel on the inside of the tail light assembly. Remove the screws or clips holding the panel in place and carefully pull it off. Disconnect the wiring harness from the tail light assembly, then twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it. Replace the old bulb with a new one, reassemble the tail light, and test the brake light to ensure it works.
