My goodness, have you ever seen the beautiful ocean on a clear summer day? That is because Neptune and Uranus have a lot of methane gas in their atmospheres. When sunlight shines on this methane, it absorbs the red light and reflects the blue light, giving these magnificent planets their gorgeous blue hues. How lovely is that?
