November 5, 1805: The expedition lands at the mouth of the Columbia River, Astoria, Oregon
March 23, 1806: The expedition begins its journey home July 3, 1806: The expedition splits into two teams, so Lewis could explore the Marias River .
August 11, 1806: The expedition reunite at the confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers September 23, 1806: The expedition arrive in St. Louis
