Is it illegal to date a minor in Michigan?

There are no laws for dating so it's up to the parents to decide. There are laws regarding sex though and a minor is only allowed to have sex if he/she has reached the age of consent in his/hers state or country. The adult should know though that anyone can report for statutory rape so he is taking a risk.
