Can you get a phone for Christmas?

A phone could be a Christmas gift if the person or people your giving it to needs one or they asked you for one. If its an antique it would be special. If you just go out and buy and cheapy for like a buck then the person or people that your giving it to might be pretty mad at you. But it depends on what phone your getting them.
