0-60 in 7.5The 98' Mitsubishi 3000gt should have the same thing as the 97'.The(stock)97' has a V6 181 cu.inch 3.0 liter single overhead cam w/161hp @4400rpm and 185(lbs,ft) of torque @4000rpm and weight is at 3131lbs.In a 1/4 mile it runs 16.1sec. and In 0-60 in 7.5sec.So you should have the same thing if its STOCK Ok, The stock times may be difficult to find but I've owned 3 sl's one stock the other HEAVILY modified. My stock 95 gets 0-60 in about 6.1 takin it to 6krpm 80%throttle. around 5.9 all the way and this is with some wieght reduction. As i recal all the 3000gt non vr4 after 96 or 97 did not come with the DOHC but in fact came with the SOHC only. so only the sohc base or vr4 was what you could get. Not like previous years where you had the base (161hp) sl (222hp) vr4 (300-320hp). And sl does NOT stand for SLow......idiots. It clearly stands for SPORT LUXURY. So for a base 0-60 for a 98 im guessin between 6.7 - 7.5 stock. Theres YouTube vids where people are hitting 6.5 easy with there 161hp base model, and sl's are hitting 5.5 easy. Every car is different tho and all depends on the driver. My opinion.....get a 97 vr4.....0-60 4.7 sec stock. (0-60times.com.) Hope this helps a bit.
