Who owns animation dreamworks?

DreamWorks Animation is owned by Universal Pictures, a subsidiary of Comcast's NBCUniversal. Universal acquired DreamWorks Animation in 2016 for approximately $3.8 billion. Before that, DreamWorks Animation was an independent studio known for producing popular animated films like "Shrek" and "Kung Fu Panda."
