What would cause air conditioning to only work occasionally?

1. Low on freon. 2. Bad cooling fan or fan clutch. 3. Bad compressor or clutch. 4. Bad receiver drier and expansion valve / bad accumulator and expansion tube. 5. Electrical issues. 6. Controller head. 7. Relay/module. 8. Bad grounds. 9 ECM problems.
