How do I set enlarged fonts to start up in Windows?

Setting the Windows' default font size to Large or Extra Large can be easy. Right click your mouse on your desktop and select 'Properties' to launch the Display Properties window. Select the 'Appearance' tab and use the pull-down button under Font size: to select either Large or Extra Large fonts. Applying the new font size selection should cause Windows to launch with enlarged fonts.

Some versions of Windows have a 'All Programs' => Accessories => Accessibility option that lets Windows launch with the Magnifier option active.
