Why is the gumamela bisexual?

The gumamela, or hibiscus, is considered bisexual because its flowers contain both male (stamens) and female (pistil) reproductive structures. This allows the plant to self-pollinate or cross-pollinate with other flowers, increasing its chances of reproduction.
