Where is the thermostat located on a 4-cylinder 1999 Nissan Frontier?

If it is anything like my 1998 Nissan Frontier 4-cylinder, then it is located on the engine block side of the bottom radiator hose to the top left and in between all of the belts. I am currently changing out my thermostat b/c of engine overheating problems. I had to remove the plastic around the back of the radiator, then remove the fan to have access to the bolts on the engine block that hold the metal thermostat housing on. I don't know a lot about engines and this is a new venture for me, but it has been a lot of bloody knuckles. If you have the right tool it might be easier. In the 98 you have to seal it with silicone. I had to come to work this morning and didn't finish the job yet, but I hope to finish within a few minutes since I have everything undone. I looked all over the internet trying to figure out the location of the thermostat because Nissan didn't provide me with any book explaining how to do anything(change headlight, etc.). I hope I could be of some help.
