How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a Nissan primera p12?

You will need small hands unless you remove certain obstacles such as the window wash bottle! Firstly remove the rubber boot from the back of the unit. The wire connector block attaches directly to the tags on the bulb itself and is removed by simply pulling it off (levering it with your finger tips helps). The bulb itself is removed by rotating it anticlockwise for less than a quarter turn. As you remove the bulb make a mental note of the position of the lug on the bulb rim as you cannot see what you are doing when you put the new bulb back in and you can spend ages finding the location. Once located rotate bulb as far as it will go clockwise and re-fit wire connector and rubber boot. A five minute job once you have done it once but quite tricky first time!
