AnswerThe earliest Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures (not yet really a 'Bible') was the Septuagint (often abbreviated as LXX). This contained many translation errors and by the first century CE was being gradually updated, with some of the original books virtually retranslated. Since the LXX consisted of many separate scrolls, it is hard to talk of a 'version', because someone could easily have an early copy of one book and a recent copy of another, without thinking of them collectively as other than their scripture (Septuagint).
