What is omnipaque?

Omnipaque is a contrast material used for imaging studies.

This means if your doctor orders certain kinds of tests where he may want to see vessels or structures more clearly, he may order the test "with contrast." At this point you will be injected with said material, which will light up on the image, highlighting certain areas of your body.
