What is the meaning of a short but normal handshake?

Years ago a hand shake was between two men (no women were included like it is today in modern society.) A hand shake told a lot about a person:

• Quick hand shake ... the person is uncomfortable touching the other person, but knows they have to shake hands if the other person extends their hand.
• A flopping wishy washy type of hand shake means the person is of not strong character and can't make good solid decisions.
• A firm grip of a handshake without breaking the person's hand generally means the person is strong, dependable and know what they want or don't want and it use to mean that person was trustworthy.

Handshakes were used to seal deals years ago, but of course now there are contracts and much legalities. When a woman extended back then the man would bend over and kiss the top of her hand. Now that women have careers and are in the world of men and business everyone shakes hands.
