How do you turn street lights off?

A green laser that is at least 100mW can trigger it. A little sensor on top off the light, usually a cylinder, controls it. At night, you can direct the laser at the sensor and it will turn off for 5-10 minutes depending on what type of light. Street lights can't be turned on during the day unless you have the controls to it.
