The long term effects were the things that the people made such as dams, courts, schools, and other buildings that people used to make jobs. The dams in particular provided elictricity that powered huge factories that rose up in the Northwest such as Boeing. These dams provided more energy for people to use in seatle than new yok did. People were incouraged to use electricite in the Northwest.
