Why Unilever is the name?

Back in 1930, a Dutch margarine producer, Margarine Unie, joined with a British soap company, Lever Brothers, companies who products were both made with palm oil. Since that time, the company acquired an extensive line brand name products, such as Lipton, Hellman's, Dove soap, Vaseline, Slim Fast, etc. which it now distributes worldwide.
