How do you make a signature on Deviantart?

To change your deviantart icon, follow these steps:

Go to deviantART.com

Log in to your account. (This can be done by typing in your username and passWord at the top of the page and clicking login)

Once logged in, there are two ways of changing your icon.

Method One:

1) Go to the small dark green square at the top of the page next to you user name, and click it.

2) A drop down menu will appear. Click 'Edit Settings'.

This will take you to a page with many options to choose from. One the left side of the bar, there will be a list of these options.

3) Under the title, Public, click 'Identity'. This will take you to a page, where you can edit your Avatar/Icon.

4)You will see your current avatar and slightly below it, a long green button titled 'Change Avatar'. It will take you to your files you have saved on your computer and from there you select the 15x15 image you wish to use as your avatar.

5) This part is optional. If you do not want a specific avatar, you can reset it. Next to the long green button 'Change Avatar', there is blue link that states 'Restart your Avatar'.

Method Two:

1) Go to your userpage. (This can be done by clicking your username at the top of any deviantART page, or by typing in your brower's address bar: http://YOURUSERNAME.deviantart.com)

2) On your userpage, you will see your avatar/icon towars the top left of the page. Click on your avatar.

3) Follow steps 2-4 or 5 that are stated in method one.
