If there is money on your EBT cash benefits account, then technically, you could go to an ATM and withdraw cash to buy alcohol, but it should not be done. Cash Benefits is to buy necessities such as toilet paper and clothes. If after all necessities are bought, if there is anything left, then it should either be not used or returned to the government. People abuse the government programs by taking more than they need, and that contributes to the current status of our economy.
