What is the percent of students who drop out of high school?

this question has no real answer. just more questions. for example how can you be successful when you don't follow through with anything????? Are the schools in America really teaching our children???? are they challenged enough ???? other countries are challenging their students and they have no choice in weather they complete school or not, still some don't even have schools........ with technology advancing as fast as it is it is important to help them see it through. As a parent, I believe I have failed my child...... He is 15 1/2 and was told he could quit if he wanted to ........ are the teachers telling our children they can ??? I hope your child sees it through, and I pray that god will help us all, and see that all our children get the foundation they need to be competitive in life.
