Why do dogs attack other dogs?

Dogs attack people for 6 different reasons. 1: They are protecting territory, 2: They are protecting owners, 3: They are protecting young, 4: They are scared of people, 5: They are very sick, ( rabies, foaming at the mouth,) or 6: They have been mistreated.
