Michael DiSalle (born January 6, 1908 in New York City; died September 14, 1981 in Italy) succeeded C. William O'Neill as the sixtieth Governor of Ohio, serving between January 12, 1959 and January 14, 1963.
Following the end of DiSalle's term as Governor of Ohio, Jim Rhodes (born September 13, 1909 in Coalton, Ohio; died March 4, 2001 in Columbus, Ohio) became the sixty-first Governor of Ohio, serving between January 14, 1963 and January 11, 1971.
