How long can you keep an unopened bottle of mulled wine?

Since Marsala is a fortified wine it will not spoil, though its taste will decline over time. If you plan to drink marsala, it will taste best within the first few weeks. If you are cooking with it, you can keep it a few months to a year without noticing much of a difference.
