As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, there have been no Black four-star generals in the United States Marine Corps. The highest-ranking Black officer in the Marine Corps history is General Charles C. Krulak, who served as a four-star general but was not Black. The representation of Black officers in senior ranks has been a focus of ongoing efforts to promote diversity within the military.
