Use a little toothpaste! It has to be tooth paste, not gel, because toothpaste has fine abrasives in it. Rub a little on the affected area and it will come off!

If you're asking "how you get hair dye off skin" that means you're probably sitting at home, late for an outing, and desperate. And the "buy stain remover next time" advice probably just ticks you off. Just get the bleach out - your skin will be fine as long as you rinse it off immediately.

I have dark hair and have had no luck with nail polish remover, tooth-paste, vaseline, OR vinegar. Save yourself the headache. And for nails (like when your nails cut the ends of the gloves and the hair dye stains your fingertips) - just polish over with a dark nail polish!

I always polish my nails (no need to be neat) before I dye my hair, so if/when my fingertips get stained, the nail polish remover will atleast remove the nail stains (because they're on top of the polish), and the bleach will take care of the rest.

Answer that was on here before: Nail polish remover.

And next time, put vaseline along your hairline and the back of your neck so as to stop the dye going onto your skin

Take it easy on your skin. Next time, try an actual haircolor remover that's made for the skin, like Clean Touch Haircolor Stain Remover by Roux or simply try regular white vinegar. Both are gentler and less irritating on the skin than nail polish remover.
