Can Muslims take any part in Christmas and would a Muslim be offended if given a Christmas gift by a co-worker?

God does not forbid you to be kind and tolerant with non Muslims so far they don't deprive you from practicing your religion or so far they don't attack you or expel you from your lands and homes. Accordingly, there is no harm; in my view; to congratulate them on their feasts or to accept their presents and gifts (on condition that they do not include anything forbidden per religion as alcohols or something mixed with alcohols as some chocolate types). God know the best and is the All-Knowing.
