Mercedes c230 kompressor durability

I have 2004 C-230 Kompressor Sedan. I purchased it with 14k miles on it. I have done the maintenance as scheduled. I have just finished doing a complete brake job myself consisting of rotors and pads. I went to a cross drilled rotor and a ceramic pad that should increase the life and reduce a lot of the brake dust these are noted for. I have 54k miles on it now and it is a great car! (at least so far). The brake job was just as easy as the one on my Silverardo truck. I spent about $550 in parts. The dealer wanted about $1,250. It took about 2.5 hours.
