How do you differentiate demonstrative pronoun and demonstrative adjective?

Demonstrative pronouns take the place of a noun in a sentence.

Example: I'll take four of these and two of those.

Demonstrative adjectives are placed before a noun to describe that noun.

Example: I'll take four of thesebrownies and two of those lemon squares.
