How can you become a mermiad?

I am part of the mermaid clan and i am a mermaid species, but to tell you my friend and i are in the mermaid clan and we both are mermaids. But to tell you the truth not all mermaids have to have tails! My friend is a mermaid without a tail! I think you have to have family history to become one and most likely if you research your family you will probably have history with mermiads. But if you touch water and don't have a tail then you must be a mermaid without a tail!

But that's ok and to know if you are one then all you have to know is if you love the ocean! And please im not going to be the type of person to lie how to become one and tell you something to do that will waste precious time! I think their is a potion and im princess mermaid. I can connect you with the spirits only if you prove to me that you are worthy of this task! The potion has the following ingredients that well be HARD to get: A full tail of a horse Amber Butterfly Scale Once you do so you must put it in a cup and wait a day, it will connect you with the spirits and they will see if your worthy of becoming a merperson!
