It is neutral mutation.

Codons are made up of 3 base pairs. This gives 64 different combinations, but there are only 20 amino acids, so some different codons will code for the same amino acid. When the base pair that is changed doesn't cause a change in the amino acid it codes for, then ultimately nothing happens
