How did Cronus become ruler of the world?

Cronus became ruler of the world by overthrowing his father, Uranus, the sky god. He castrated Uranus with a sickle given to him by his mother, Gaia, which allowed him to take control of the cosmos. Following his rise to power, Cronus established a golden age but later faced a rebellion from his own children, leading to his eventual downfall.
