1. Detach the cable from the negative post of the battery
2. Raise the vehicle body (not the wheels as you need the axle to drop down) and block
the vehicle so it won't fall.
3. Some starters have a coverplate to remove - remove it.
4. Use tape to label wires for replacement.
5. Remove fasteners and bolts holding the starter. A socket wrench should do on some
models. However, some starters have allen-wrench boltheads.
