How long does it take to to complete a veterinarian degree?

In the United States, the curriculum at vet school is four years long. However, because this is a graduate degree, you must complete an additional 3-4 years of undergraduate college before applying to vet school. Outside of the United States the entire curriculum for veterinary medical training tends to be rolled together into one program which typically takes 6-8 years depending upon the country's educational infrastructure.
