Are Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin friends?

Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin had a professional relationship as fellow astronauts during the Apollo 11 mission where they became the first two humans to walk on the moon. While they worked closely together during their training and the mission itself, they were not known to have a particularly close personal friendship outside of their work.
